Winter Wonderland

This past week we have had a couple of snowstorms that have turned our neighborhoods into a winter wonderland! :) The first real storm we had was last Tuesday and the weather people were saying that this storm was the storm of the century. Udot had urged workers to get off early to avoid driving in the middle of the storm. Our bosses were so nice and they let us off early so that we didn't have to drive in it.
The storm came in and it snowed some, but it wasn't that bad. I was just glad I didn't have to be on the roads during it though. Then we got hit again on Sunday and it snowed all day long. We got quite a bit of snow - we just watched it snow and snow and snow. Michael went out to snowplow and he said it was freezing. It was nice because the snow was light enough that the snow blower did a fantastic job. We are so grateful that we have a snow blower! Having a snow blower makes life so much easier when it snows.
We keep hearing that we are going to have a long and bad winter this year. So far it is looking like we just might! We have seen more snow this year than we have in past years. The snow is nice when you are not driving in it. I hate to drive in the snow, but I do love the snow. It makes Christmas seem like Christmas! :) Plus when it is cold outside it makes you want to have yummy hot chocolate! (My favorite).

The snow was so deep on Sunday and it made it difficult for poor little Cinnamon to go potty. She had to go potty on the sidewalk because the snow is so deep it buries her! Ha ha!! Cinnamon hates this time of year because of the snow. She gets so cold she doesn't know what to do! Good thing that there is alot of sidewalk around for her to go potty! :)
