It's Your Wedding Day!

Saturday night was a BLAST!!!!! For Christmas this last year my parents got all of the sibling's season tickets to The Hale Center Theater. It has been fun getting together to go to the plays every couple of months. This month the play is The Wedding Singer. Everyone was able to make it to the play except for Jeff and Connie. Everyone met at the Hale Center Theater. None of us were really sure if this play was going to be like the move or what, but we were anxious to see it. Oh my goodness.....it was HILARIOUS! It was similar to the move and just as funny. We go to the matinee showing and so there are alot of oldies there and I don't think they quite got it. We were laughing so hard we were crying and all the old people were just sitting there, not a smile on their face. One couple sitting behind Trent and Marci said 'it must be a generation thing!"
The guy that plays the gay friend in the show was just absolutely hilarious. He was up there just a dancing and swinging his butt around and brushing his long black hair over his shoulders. He played the part so well, he made the hose. It was just so much fun. My stomach hurt I was laughing so hard in parts. I would definitely love to go back and see it again. It was by farm my favorite play - they did such a fantastic job and made it so much fun. And the music was just fun! I love the 80's music and if you have ever seen The Wedding Singer it takes place in the 80's. Mom loved it so much that she wanted us to bring the movie over to their house the next day to watch it.
After the play we wanted to get together and go to dinner. Aaron and Angie weren't able to make it to dinner, but the rest of us went. We decided to go to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Oh it was so yummy! I got the Pot Pourri - less the clam sauce with a salad with creamy pesto dressing. that is my all time favorite - it is just delicious. Michael got the Spaghetti Vesuvius and said his was way yummy too. I don't think there is anything on the menu that is not good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. After dinner we just sat around the table telling stories and laughing. It's fun to sit and reminisce. Trent is just hilarious, he is always telling us some funny story or impersonating someone. Trent is just funny. We had a really good time and we are looking forward to the next play!
