Wedding bells are in the air.....

On Friday night we went to a wedding for Washington's son. Washington is Michael's buddy from work. Michael and Washington are best buds; they go to lunch together and try out all the new taco stands. Well Washington's son got married on Friday and we were invited to go to the wedding reception. They wedding was held out in West Jordan at an LDS Church. Washington and his wife did the entire wedding and they did such an awesome job. The colors were red, white and black. They had red and white balloons all around, and the tables had a red table cloth with a small vase filled with rocks and water and a single red carnation. It was really simple, but very pretty. The bride was just beautiful; she had a white strapless dress on with a big thick red ribbon wrapped around her waist. And the groom was very handsome as well. I loved his outfit. He had a red shirt on with a white tie with red stripes. It was just fun! They make a really cute couple.
For the food they didn't do just refreshments they did a full coarse meal. They had pulled pork that was marinated in beer. Michael thought it was just delicious! I thought it was just ok. They also had a potato salad, green salad and a roll. It was really nice; they put together a nice wedding. For the drinks they just had water in these really big glass cooler things with lemons in it. It was really, really nice. We had a nice time visiting with Washington. It turned out to be a really nice night!
Standing next to Washington and his wife Michael looks like the jolly green giant! Ha ha! But they are good buds and I am glad we were able to share this special time with them. :)
