Babysitting the boys

I had another fun weekend full of babysitting. This weekend I was only babysitting for the day. Jeff and Connie went to the Salt Lake Temple with their friend who was receiving his endowments. So I was lucky enough to get to watch Josh and Sam. They dropped the boys off about 9:00 AM. Josh wanted to be outside with grandpa, so we went out and Josh was running around and playing. Alisa came down and asked if she could drop Tye and Matthew off for a few hours. The second that Alisa pulled up in her truck Josh went running and yelling Matthew's name. Josh and Matthew are good buds and love to play together.
They played outside for a while and then we decided it was time to bring them in to make lunch for them. Josh and Matthew both love Mac and Cheese - YUCK! But they like it so we made them some Mac and cheese for lunch. Matthew wanted to sit by Josh so they got to sit by each other and have lunch together. They thought it was lots and lots of fun.

Matthew likes to be like the older brother and take care of Josh when he is around. He likes to make sure that Josh is taken care of and has all that he would want and need. He was helping us get Josh his lunch. He is such a big helper!

While Josh was eating lunch we kept telling him that it was time for a nap as soon as he was doing eating. So once we were done with lunch he went right down for a nap. Matthew was so cute, he wanted to go down for a nap too. He wanted to be just like Josh. He didn't want Josh to have to take a nap if he didn't have to. Matthew tried to take a nap but that didn't last too long. He was up and playing around and showing us his tricks. He was keeping us entertained while Josh was sleeping . We were lucky - Josh slept for almost 2 hours. It was a beautiful thing. :)

While I was working at keeping Matthew and Josh entertained mom was holding and playing with Sam. Sam is pretty easy going - he just kinda goes with the flow which is really nice. He is just so darn cute. He even went down for a long nap. I want to say he was down for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The kids were both so happy when they woke up.

This day wasn't full of all kinds of excitement or anything, we just let the boys play and have a good time. We all just kinda hung out. It is always fun to have the kids all together. I think they have a good time and we have lots of fun with them. They are all just so fun and so cute.
