Anytime my parents have the grand kids over to babysit them for a day or two they like to take the kids up to visit my grandma Knight. To the little kids it is their great grandma Knight and she just loves all the little kids. Grandma has a tendency to keep track of who has and hasn't been out to visit and she is always making comments that she doesn't get to see the great grand kids from my siblings. So dad always makes sure he gets the kids out to see Grandma. Mom and dad were watching Sam and Josh and so on the way to drop them off to their other grandparents house for them to watch them for the tail end of Jeff's trip, they stopped by to see grandma Knight. Grandma was so excited to see the kids and I think the kids had fun out there playing with Uncle Lon's kids. Grandma doesn't get to see us all very often but when she does she sure enjoys the company and she was certainly tickled this day to see the kids and seeing how fast they are growing up. We sometimes get so wrapped up in our daily lives that we forget to stop and go and visit. We don't always realize how just going out to say hi can really brighten
someones day.

As a kid going to the Knight's house was so much fun. We hated to go to our other grandparents house because it was so boring and there was nothing to do. But going to the Knights house was fun because they live on a farm and we could go out and play with the calves and feed them. I remember I used to let the calves suck on my hands and they would be so slimy. Ha ha! We also have some cousins that lived down the street and they would come over and we would ride on the 3-wheeler and just play in the dirt. Its just like the song goes....."It's always fun to go to grandma's house. "
