Knight Family Reunion

After many weeks of preparation the family reunion is finally here! :) We were going to have the reunion at a park near by but we weren't so sure what the weather was going to do. We didn't want get all set up outside and then have it rain us out. My parents decided to more the reunion to the church house down the road. Of course, since we moved the reunion to the church the weather turned out fine. But like we all said, it is better to be safe than sorry.
My parents rented one of those jump house things and while we were waiting for family to arrive I told Alli I wanted to go out and play in it. So Alli, myself and Taytum all went out and played in the jump house. It was a riot! Poor little Taytum just couldn't stand up, we were bouncing around so much she just kept falling to the ground giggling.

So I admit, I am just a big kid that likes to play and have fun with the little ones. :) Taytum was so funny. She kept wanting to slide out of the jump house. She kept getting back in sliding out, then back in again and sliding out. It was so funny. Her cute wispy hair was just flying in the wind.

Aaron came out to watch and Taytum wasn't about to let her daddy just watch. She kept saying "daddy jump too". It was so cute. So Aaron climbed in and was playing and jumping. We all had a great time playing in the jump house.

My dad wanted to do an all you can eat pancake breakfast. So the family all started arriving for yummy pancakes and ham. Katelyn, Holly and her friend were all eating there yummy breakfasts and having a great time together.

After breakfast it was time to let the games begin. I was over showing the kids how to play a game were you put a nylon with an orange in the leg around your waist. You have to use the nylon to hit another orange through an obstacle course. It is so funny to watch people try to move the nylon with their waist and hips.

While the kids were playing their games the adults were sitting around playing games as well. It was so fun to play Catch Phrase with everyone. My grandma was HILARIOUS! She had the word limousine and she was standing up pretending to drive and more or less playing charades. We were all laughing. Our faces hurt.

After a while the boys got tired of playing games and went over to the other end of the gym and started playing basketball. The boys all LOVE to play basketball. You can never go wrong playing ball.

Courtney and Alli were busy working the fish pond and letting the kids play. All of the kids went home with a bundle of toys and candy.

We spent the morning playing games and visiting with one another. It was good to catch up with our aunts, uncles and cousins. We had a big family pot luck lunch and while we were eating lunch my parents passed out awards to every person at the reunion. It was fun to laugh and remember as we passed out silly awards to each family member. Here are a few of the awards that were given to my siblings.
Aaron - The best and most creative flatulence award.
Angie - The Best Cherry Pit spiter award.
Todd- The Best Negotiator Award.
Alisa - The don't go in there after me award.
Tricia - The most organized award.
Michael - The mother in law Hater award.
Jeff - The scarred for life award.
Connie - The best Chicken-para-gina award.
Each award has a story behind it and made us all laugh!
