Bushels Of Fun!: Out With The Old, In With The New

We have had a swamp cooler on our house since we moved in. It doesn't look to pretty,but it sure has worked good. Last year when Michael was up putting the cover on it he noticed that it was starting to rust. We were crossing our fingers to get just one more year out of it. Michael got it all hooked up and ready to go, we fired it up and it was so stinky. It smelled really fishy and musty. We let the cooler run hoping that the smell would go away. The smell did start to die off, but the next morning we noticed a puddle of water on our floor. We looked up and the cooler was leaking. Bummer!! It didn't make it one more year. We debated back and forth about what to, should we get A/C? or another swamp cooler? Pricing them out it made more sense to get an a/c unit.

So we ordered the A/C and a few weeks later they came to install the A/C and new furnace. They came out on a Saturday and 12 hours later we had our new A/C and furnace hooked up. So goodbye swamp cooler and welcome A/C!!!
