Growing Tomatoes

Ok, so the best part of summer is the fresh grown tomatoes. I love tomatoes!!! They are so yummy, especially when you eat them fresh out of the garden with salt and pepper. My dad made these awesome buckets to plant your tomatoes in. You don't have to do anything. There is a pipe that you put a stick down to check your water levels and when it gets to a certain level you fill it up with water. It will tell you when you need to water. That is the only maintenance you have to do with them. So this is the first year we are trying these buckets out. We will see how well they work and see how many yummy tomatoes we can grow!!!!

Tonight we went out to water our plants and we noticed we have a yummy tomato growing. It looks like the buckets are doing their job.

All I have to say is bring it on summer....we are ready!!!
