Fun Day At Chuck-E-Cheese!!

We were lucky enough to have our cute nephew Matthew over for the night. We like to have the kids over to spend one on one time with them. This was the very first time we took Matthew by himself. We invited Tye to come, but he already had plans so we got to have Matthew all to ourselves. It was really funny because Matthew was so excited to come and spend the night with us that he kept calling all morning long asking if it were time to go yet. His mom called me first thing in the morning asking what time we were going to pick Matthew up. We told her we were going to pick him up later that afternoon, she begged us to come and pick him up earlier. He had apparently gotten up really, really early and went to her room and woke her up all dressed and ready to go. He kept calling us and asking if we were on our way yet, he wanted to come and play. He called numerous times that day wondering if it were time yet. I think he was so excited he just couldn't stand it. It was really cute. We finally picked him up and to him it was like an eternity before we got there. We took him to Chuck-E-Cheese to have pizza and play some games. I think he was so excited to play on all the games that he just had no appetite. There was too many things to do and see and no time to sit down and eat.

One of his favorite things to do was play on the bike where you had to pedal to make the bike go up in the air. He loves to pull silly faces.

He also wanted to ride in all the cars with all the different characters. It was like he was driving, he is such a big boy. He is such a loveable boy; he had to give Chuck-E a big hug while riding in the car with him.

Matthew loves dogs, so he of course had to ride in the car with the dog and give him big loves.

Here he is again riding one of those bike rides that makes you go up in the air if you pedal.

Michael is as much of a kid as any of them. He loves to play any sort of game. So putting him in Chuck-E-Cheese is like the best thing ever. Michael was helping Matthew play bump the mole on the head. They are so involved in the game.
After Chuck-E-Cheese we took Matthew home and we decorated sugar cookies. Matthew loves candy and sugar and while decorating the cookies he was eating spoonfuls of frosting. YUCK! But he thought it was good. He made us laugh; he was having such a good time. After decorating cookies we let him go downstairs with us and play some video games. He was trying to play some car game that you drive with the controller. He did a pretty good job, alot better than when I try to play. Then we took him upstairs to watch a movie, he wanted to watch Meet the Robinsons. He watched maybe 10-15 minutes of it before he crashed. I think he got himself all worked up and excited to go and play with us that he was all tuckered out.
In the morning we made him a yummy breakfast, but he is so silly. He doesn't like pancakes unless they are the frozen kind and I had no idea they even made such a thing. But we had gotten him some of those and he thought he had died and gone to heaven. He is just a sweet loving little boy. He is our little buddy Matthew. We had alot of fun on this little overnighter!
